Big love for this Washington shoot, set amongst the gorgeous landscape of Deception Pass State Park. We reached out to Tatiana of Rosemary & Pine photography after seeing some beautiful shots from the shoot floating about on Insta. We instantly wanted to showcase it in all its wild and natural beauty.
There are so many things we love about this concept…from the surroundings, to the styling. The palette is so delicate set against the raw of the wilderness, with pops of peach and pink, and flashes of brighter reds and orange. It is, in a word, dreamy.
We also love that real bride Karaline left her beaut vintage glasses on. We love a strong glasses look.

Catching up with Tatiana, the photographer, I wanted to understand more about what the day entailed…
“It was such a romantic day to venture out with Robert and Karaline as our models. Karaline wore a dress by Free People that she actually wore at her wedding reception, which her and Robert celebrated just the year before!
So many amazing vendors played a key role in making this day as amazing and beautiful as it was. Al & Bloom created such beautiful floral pieces that complemented 3Eleven Event’s styling so well that I almost couldn’t get over how romantic and beachy the whole tablescape felt. Some of my favourite items used for styling were the beautiful brass candlesticks that brought so much romanticism and dimension to the tablescape. Al & Bloom’s cascading florals don’t fall fair behind though!”

Sometimes a pared back styled shoot makes for the most impactful. A simple but beautifully constructed tablescape, a beautiful stationery flatlay and the cake styled to perfection. And then a programme of stunning couple shots.
That’s exactly what this team did. And nailed it.
“I loved how down to earth, romantic, and adventurous this entire day was. Elegance was intertwined through bits and pieces of the day, but still, it included so much texture and a touch of boho that made such a good connection to the location.” Tatiana

The shoot location is so idyllic…we wish we could travel to all the amazing places our submissions come from. But we are especially loving the contrast between the golden grades, the sandy ground and the beautiful evergreens in the background. Such a gorgeous representation of nature.
And despite it being a cold day, we can feel the warmth between this sweet newlywed couple…
“I loved shooting with Robert and Karaline as newlyweds because their love for one another said it all. It feels so good when almost every aspect of a shoot comes together so flawlessly from the connection your couple has to vendor styles jiving better than you could dream of” Tatiana
From the sumptuous cake finished with edible gold leaf, to the rosy tones of the stunning stationery suite, each and every supplier captured the vibe and delivered such an array of incredible pieces to make this whole shoot run like a dream.

One of our favourite aspects of this shoot is the fashion. The dress worn by Karaline, by the amazing Free People, is so beautifully bohemian and effortless…the scooped back, the winged sleeves…and not forgetting the button detailing! We lovvvvve that she chose to wear sandals as opposed to the typical bridal heel. Robert, incredibly dapper in his dark grey suit, chose the perfect brown shoes to complement the surrounding landscape.
And seriously, how can we forget that bouquet. So beautiful in its abundance, and perfectly rich and tonal.

When asked about how the shoot went, Tatiana explains…
“I can’t say that I felt there were many challenges during this day. Everything, even the weather, felt so perfectly chosen that I could not have asked for a better creative experience.” Tatiana
Well, you can’t get much better than that, can you…
Well done to a fabulous team!
