The Runaways…

All the feels for Arizona, Route 66 and The Killers, in the middle of the Essex countryside.

We have an awesome shoot for you today, inspired by The Killers, Route 66 and Arizona…quite literally some of our favourite things! The colours, the detail and the models are all just completely stunning…and definitely bring a gorgeous tribute to the Arizona desert to Essex, UK.

Caroline, the photographer, explains her reasoning behind the shoot, and why it was important to utilise the references she did…

“A few years ago, driving through the Arizona desert on Route 66, a shoot idea began to form in my head. It was largely inspired by The Killer’s song ‘Runaways’: I pictured newly-weds driving out into the sunset across the desert, ready to start a new adventure together. I’ve always loved tribal and native American influences and these drove the style for the shoot. I really wanted to create a feeling of an exciting, nomadic fresh start and a couple ready for their next free spirited adventure.” Caroline

The Venue

Caroline held the shoot at the Barns at Lodge Farm; a venue local to her in the Essex countryside. It’s rare you find somewhere local,  sustainable and so beautiful with all the rustic vibes and an awesome blank canvas to create exactly what you want…

“Obviously being in the UK and not the desert, we drew in some english influences from the location. With the combination of rustic barns, industrial style grain stores and hay stacks, Lodge Farm kept the original influences while adding an interesting range of backdrops.” Caroline

Amy from Anthology Vintage Hire did an incredible job of bringing Caroline’s ideas to life. She sourced an amazing collection of tribal soft furnishings, a low dining table setup and beautiful ceremony area with a wooden arch and peacock chairs. Vanderhume and Bohotanical also added some finishing touches, such as the handmade hanging on the arch (Vanderhume) and a huge macrame hanging as a backdrop (Bohotanical).

Flowers

“For this shoot I really wanted to use sustainable suppliers and Bohotanical was the perfect choice. With her range of faux flowers we could create the perfect florals whilst not needing any new stock. We opted for dried flowers and pampas to add interesting texture. Pampas are so versatile and blended in with the colour palette in such a beautiful way.” Caroline

Models & Hair/Makeup

Caroline had worked with Katie before and knew her look would be perfect for this shoot. Katie brought along her friend Claire to shoot with.

“I absolutely love when friends model together as it means you get real connection and joy in the photos. I am in love with the fierce, feminist vibes from our models.” Caroline

Lauren Siddons was on hand for hair & makeup – she was so enthusiastic about the shoot and came up with super creative looks for both the models. We absolutely adore the way she styled Claire’s hair with braids and hoops – it looks so fierce and unique. For Katie, Lauren opted for dark, smoky makeup to work alongside her hat and accessories, whereas Claire’s was a more subtle look to go with her eye catching hair and large earrings by Vanderhume.

Aneberry Bridal provided two incredible dresses for this shoot. Caroline opted for two different styles: Claire wore an effortless and elegant dress with a short train, while Katie wore a bohemian lace dress. We love the slit at the front and little lace details around the shoulders and chest.

Finishing Touches

Wonderland Invites was Caroline’s only choice for this shoot. Jenna created a bespoke suite of stationery with a rusty colour palette, tassels, dreamcatchers and tribal skulls, perfectly in keeping with the tone of the day.

Keeping with the sustainable requirements, Cakes and Leaves provided a vegan three tier lemon and poppy seed cake which went down a treat with the team! We absolutely love the shots at the dining area cutting in to the cake – it’s a rarity to see.

Caroline stumbled across Denim & Bone on Instagram a few months ago and approached the team there straight away about featuring a jacket. Inspired by her travels, Denim & Bone’s jackets stand out as boho treasures evoking a wild and fearless feeling. Her ‘Formally Wild’ leather sat so beautifully with the overall vibe of the shoot and complimented the other bridal accessories wonderfully.

The Car

The whole premise of this shoot centered on a road trip. To add the English flare, Buttercup Bus took part with beautiful Pushka the Camper! The 1972 babe was the perfect colour fit and totally brought the adventurous and nomadic side to the concept.

If You Go Down To The Woods Today

This shoot exudes cool…from the bride and groom fashion, to the gorgeous wicker furniture.

Seriously. Cool. Yep. This shoot exudes cool in so many ways…from the bride and groom fashion, to the gorgeous use of bang-on-trend wicker furniture. Oh, and not to mention the beautiful blue-eyed canine companion.

Today’s feature shoot comes in the form of a quaint glamping tale, set in beautiful Cherry Hill Park in Maryland.

“An amazing group of vendors and I came together to create this moody Glamping Boho styled shoot! Our shoot took place in an eco friendly environment in a secluded Glamping location in Maryland. Our trendy bohemian couple was paired with a sweet blue-eyed husky as they shared pizza with each other around our nature inspired tablescape” Jessica, Event Planner

Honestly, we can’t really think of a better way to spend your wedding day than out in nature, round a campfire eating pizza!

Enjoy!

Wild & Free at Browning Bros

With a focus on sustainability, this wedding inspiration shoot is seriously beautiful!

What do insane floral installations, reclaimed wooden backdrops, tipis and bohemian styling all have in common? We love, love, love them! Thats what! So we’re unbelievably thrilled to be bringing this glorious wedding inspiration shoot to you today!

Conceptualised and coordinated by Wed in The Wild Editor, Jenna, the shoot combined creams, golds, whites, browns and greens in a neutral palette perfect for a bohemian wedding. The focus was also on sustainability – all styling and hire items were either repurposed, recycled or sourced from vintage shops, the hop wreaths utilised by the florist was used again after the shoot for a wedding, and all the gorgeous linens were all repurposed and dyed using natural, plant or recycled metal dyes.

“When dreaming up this shoot, I had no venue in mind other than Browning Brothers, and their Chalkney Water Meadow site. I love their tipi; the colour is perfect for the palette I had assigned to the shoot, and I knew it would also provide the necessary drama. Their site is brimming with beautiful little pockets of nature; including a beautiful lake and an open field where we shot the models running through the grasses. And luckily, their bell tents were available for the models to get ready in.” Jenna

The shoot focused on three key installation areas, with a number of smaller setups interwoven throughout the day. Anthology Vintage Hire had just finalised their three part reclaimed wooden backdrop, which can be made longer or shorter based on requirement. We utilised all three panels for the tablescape and seating area, and it provided the perfect frame.

Mia Sylvia worked her fabrics into two beautiful swathed installations, whilst Emma Spowage created a bold and dramatic pampas and hop-filled foliage installation, littered with dainty little flowers. The Rock The Day team styled the tablescape utilising a rust-dyed runner from Mia Sylvia, a hand-worked hop garland by Emma Spowage and a gorgeous collection of vintage sourced brass candlesticks and deer. The bohemian nods were continued in the two other installations; the low grazing table and the gorgeous, abundant a-frame setup, which flanked The White Mules drinks trailer.

“When I approached Emily from Maid of Gingerbread, I was so excited by her enthusiasm in creating a tipi out of gingerbread. I had admired her work for eons and I knew her unique creativity would provide an amazing statement creation which would be worlds apart from the naked cakes we see so often. The detailed macrame piping and the gorgeous matcha green tea infused piped grasses and flowers were mindblowingly pretty, and the whole confection just worked so well with the larger setup and styling. It was also yummy.” Jenna

Emma Spowage, in sheer determination the day before her biggest wedding of 2018, provided the most stunning corner piece for the wall setup alongside a gorgeous bridal bouquet which we trailed with silks by Mia Sylvia. Emma also created a really unique succulent inspired headdress for the models to wear, which included some of the hops she had foraged for the shoot too. The bouquet was abundant and utilised white florals, pops of yellow, oodles of foliage and green amaranthus.

Two models were chosen for the shoot; Louise and Rachel, who both have completely different looks and personalities. For Louise, the team selected gorgeous Chantal Lauren and Otuduy dresses, which worked perfectly with her Texas-native cowboy boots and relaxed hair and makeup. Rachel rocked Rembo Styling and Francis Bridal gowns, which provided a beautiful contrast to her more structured, plaited hair. All dresses were supplied by Rock The Frock Bridal who were extremely accommodating and fabulous at recommending dresses to pair with the moodboard. Lisa Alger provided hair and makeup services.

“I decided to use ASOS accessories as I hadn’t come across anything I similar elsewhere – I wanted a hat, and I also wanted to utilise a draping gold headpiece that I had come across on the website, which Rachel wore. On the day, we noticed that Louise already wore a gorgeous Texas state necklace, which we decided to use; Louise is a country singer and her boyfriend lives in the states, so it actually worked perfectly with the tone of the shoot. Lisa also worked in some beautiful gold clips into the girls hair. I had approached She’s Lost Control who sent us a gorgeous box of goodies to utilise as part of a number of styling setups, including crystals, candles and love sprays from their online collections. We also lent a couple of dried sage bundles which we ended burning to ward off the wasps on the day; however, the burning sage fit so well that we decided to include it in the images!” Jenna

For the stationery, Jenna decided to utilise succulents in order to tie in with the styling on the day, and also incorporate celestial nods in the shape of watercolour moon graphics. The stationery also included feathers, dreamcatchers and antler charms.

“I wanted to provide something different to the norm, so I created a bohemian lanyard style order of the day booklet, which included a who’s who of the wedding party, an order of service sheet, a poem and a drinks token page. I also decided to create a beautiful organic cotton printed banner, with a gorgeous quote. To this, I sewed in tassels to the corners for a textural feel”. Jenna

The shoot was captured by British Wedding Photographer of the Year 2018, Kelsie Low, who’s direction, patience and willingness to contort herself into various positions to get the money shot is nothing short of inspiring!

“Working with Kelsie and the rest of the team was such a pleasure – each supplier went above and beyond, and the result was our magic.” Jenna

Frida-Inspired Greenhouse Vibes

A banging bridal inspiration shoot, set in the tropical greenhouses of Writtle College.

Hey! Jenna here! I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about blogging a shoot before. Sure, I may be biased as this concept was the brainchild of me as part of my other business, Wonderland Invites, but even if it wasn’t my concept…I think it would still be up there with the most exciting, bad-ass, spine-tingling shoots I’ve seen out there for a long time.

I love a styled shoot, and I tend to plan 4-6 a year. I know how hard they are to pull off and that every single detail is always meticulously thought out. Providing couples with amazing inspiration is a huge factor in the thought processes of the suppliers involved. Luckily, I had a bloody brilliant team on board with me for this baby, and you know what, they killed it…

The Premise

I guess where it started for this concept was a photoshoot that Karen from Rock The Frock curated back in 2017. It took place in the greenhouse at Writtle College; a working university dedicated to agriculture and horticulture. Ever since working on that shoot with Karen, I have wanted to shoot in the greenhouses there.

I love all things green, lush and cactus-filled – greenhouses are life, amirite? I am also a lover of beautiful Moroccan homeware, and the goddess herself Frida Khalo. In fact, I remember studying her work in GCSE Art, and since then, I just love the colourful nature of her work. So, essentially, this shoot was a pooling of different inspirations into one beautifully bohemian, colour popping shoot!

Styling

I always need to have my right-hand women shooting with me; the amazing Laura and Alex from Rock The Day Styling and Amy from Anthology Vintage Hire. They just ‘get’ my concepts and truly elevate every aspect of every shoot I have conceptualised with their amazing hire items, furniture and eye for styling. Alex had spray-painted a peacock chair black and I was itching to use it; I knew it would fit with the styling for this shoot.

Alongside reclaimed trestle tables and chairs, Amy lent her beautiful tan Chesterfield chair and her amazing new triangular arch, which the amazing Rebecca from Velvet Rose Flower Studio adorned with bang-on-trend anthurium, orchids and trailing amaranthus.

Assisting Laura and Alex was Shelley of The Neon Finca. Shelley travels to Morocco periodically to pick up amazing homeware items to stock her shop, which we incorporated into the styling of the shoot. Her gorgeous kilim cushions provided beautiful pops of colour around the peacock chair seating area, and her woven placemats gave extra depth to the tablescape, which Laura and Alex decorated with beautiful candles, glassware and bowls filled with fruit.

The Fashion

Dresses were lent by Karen of Rock The Frock and included items by Otaduy, Zetterberg, Chantelle Lauren and a jumpsuit by Velvet Hearts. I also lent an additional gown from Shikoba following a shoot we worked on together in Morocco. We mixed and matched looks on the models Shona and Louise, and added a beautiful leather jacket by Back Chat Designs for some extra sass and oomph.

Zoe from Knot Your Average Bride provided hair and makeup services; Zoe, alongside her work as a wedding HMUA, also works with a lot of fashion brands, so her eye for fashion and elevating a look was paramount. We wanted to create some edgier looks, and her amazing work definitely took us there. She was assisted on the day by CLB Hair.

Zoe also helped guide which hairpieces and jewellery would work best with which looks – we had a beautiful array of items to use from Black + Sigi, ASOS and Gypsy Rose Vintage, alongside a real flower crown created by Rebecca and a stunning floral embroidered veil from Sash & Veil.

Stationery & Cake

For the stationery, I must have spent hours of downtime working on the concept. It took ages to get right…something didn’t click at the start so I started over a good few times! I decided to incorporate a tile pattern which kinda gave me the kickstart I needed to take the design to a better place.

I always use separate inserts for shoots as they are easier to photograph, but as I was there on the day to help style, I decided to breathe life into one of my best-selling formats; the concertina design. I opted for bright colours and complemented the design with bright envelopes and tassels to add texture. You can see more of my stationery work here.

When I asked Sarah of Tiny Sarahs Cakes to provide the cake, I knew I had to provide a colourful, interesting brief as she just doesn’t do standard cakes. She’s consistently raising the roof of the cake game in the UK with her amazing, detailed and super-creative designs, so I was thrilled she said yes! And she didn’t disappoint!

The Flowers

If you want super cool, bang-on-trend flowers in Essex, then there’s nobody better than Rebecca of Velvet Rose Flower Studio. She’s colourful, bohemian, edgy and luxe all rolled into one, and she creates the most awesome displays.

For this shoot, Rebecca played homage to the greenhouses with grasses, palms, anthurium, orchids and beautiful trailing amaranthus. She hit the nail on the head with the triangular backdrop, busting a gut to get the frame looking absolutely spot on and well-balanced.

The Models & The Photographer

I’d worked with Louise Parker previously on a shoot at Browning Brothers, and she’s an uber professional model; on time, knows her poses and is such a warm personality to have on set. I found Shona’s profile and instantly knew I wanted her to join us…not only are her brows absolute perfection, but she’s equally pro and ridiculously sweet. Both ladies were amazing to have on set.

And lastly…Megs of Megan Elle Photography. What can I say. Megan is a true talent, a real sweetheart and a brilliant director. I knew this shoot was going to be special but upon receiving the images from Megs following the day, I was in awe. Not only did she capture every detail perfectly but she also captured loads of lovely behind the scenes shots of the team working hard.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single supplier involved in this shoot. You are all incredible. If you are getting married in the South East of England, then these are the suppliers you should be booking for your big day.

Boho On The Farm

A sweet shoot full of bohemian, rustic charm and some little animal friends.

We’ve a beautiful, sweet little shoot on the blog today…full of bohemian, rustic charm and including some gorgeous little animal friends…and hailing from Hekluhestar, Netherlands no less.

Whats great about this shoot is that it shows just how the simplest of venues can be transformed with minimal input – some macrame details, florals and a great cake can make all the difference, and can transform an agricultural space really effectively.

Neutral Moroccan Vibes…And An Alpaca!

Full of golden tones and pampas, we love this Moroccan styled shoot.

As the weather starts to turn milder, and the days grow longer, we’re looking ahead too summer…which is why we are all about this warming shoot submitted by photographer, Isabel Pogscheba.

Full of golden tones, pampas and simple styling, there is also a surprise guest in the form of a gorgeous, white alpaca. Speaking to Isabel, we learnt that her idea was to create a bridal styled shoot in a rustic, moroccan, festival style…and the suppliers she pulled together certainly nailed the concept!

It’s beautifully neutral, and has oodles of character…

Alpaca Bridaleditorial 5

Alpaca Bridaleditorial 12

Bathed in golden light, despite the weather on the day being dreary and damp, the team brought to life a little corner of the field which is the alpaca’s home with gorgeous, vintage wicker furniture, brass vases and candlesticks, and bang on-trend pouffes.

We especially love the cake with the stalks of florals, pampas and feathers sticking upright out of the centre…such a unique and modern way to style a buttercream cake!

Alpaca Bridaleditorial 47

Alpaca Bridaleditorial 46

Alpaca Bridaleditorial 45

The bridal style overflowed with lace…with a lace skirt and top, and a gorgeous shawl to drape over the models shoulders. Opting to go without jewellery, the team decided to up-style her gown with a beautiful floral crown handmade with white roses and eucalyptus, and a stunning bridal turban in gold, shimmery tones.

We love the different take on the boho style…natural, effortless and free-flowing, with fresh-faced bridal beauty.

TOP TIP: Vintage wicker and rattan furniture is such a massive trend this year…so if you are a stylist, snap it up on eBay/pre-loved websites or at bootsales/vintage fairs while you can, as new-age replicas are really expensive! Also, buying pre-loved items is much more eco-friendly!

Think chairs, end tables, coffee tables and even day-beds which can be used for sweetheart tables and chill out areas.

Wild Lakeside Engagement in NY

Shot in the Adirondack Mountains, today’s engagement session is both whimsical and romantic.

Sometimes it’s really nice to showcase a different side of the wedding process…and engagement shoots are the perfect way to do that. Shot in the Adirondack Mountains in Schroon Lake, NY, today’s engagement session is both visual perfection and pure romanticism.

Submitted by Kortni of Kortni Maria Photography, and combining a wonderfully talented team, we are loving the whimsical and wild nature of this perfect boho, outdoorsy session. ..jam-packed full of beautiful blooms and pure, intimate moments.

It’s everything an engagement session should be, so pin to your hearts content!

kortnimaria-8653

kortnimaria-9000

kortnimaria-9020

kortnimaria-9047

Kortni had hosted a few styled shoot events in 2018 for photographers in the area to come shoot at, this being one of them; the perfect way to help photographers meet vendors and other photographers in the area in order to gain portfolio-worthy content and get creative with no pressure.

“They also serve to help people learn how I interact with and shoot my couples” Kortni

Such a great idea. We’re loving how suppliers are getting involved with organising larger scale shoots where a bigger team of vendors/suppliers and photographers can come together with the purpose of widening their portfolios. So many people benefit from the process.

kortnimaria-9135

KortniMaria-9287.jpg

kortnimaria-9270

“I organised two other other styled shoots before ending 2018 with this one. I styled this shoot to be summery and beachy-romantic. I pulled some ideas off Pinterest, made a mood board and then sent this off to all the vendors. Together we all worked hard to make this happen and I’m am so happy with how it turned out!” Kortni

Agreed. From the boat overflowing with draping blooms and greenery to the whimsical, peachy and dusty blue tablescape, with all the perfect and intricate finishing touches…so much thought has gone into this concept and so much detail has been constructed.

We love the models, Jess and Andy, and have featured them on the blog before – showcasing the love between a real couple, whether on a styled shoot or as part of a real wedding or engagement session is always an honour and a pleasure.  Theres a connection which just cannot be ignored.

kortnimaria-9162

kortnimaria-9320

As with all shoots, real weddings or elopements, there is an element of struggle. Whether it be the weather, or natural elements, or even a supplier being unable to make it. Kortni explains what didn’t quite go to plan behind the scenes…

“Carrying all the decor down to the beach was a lot more work than we thought it was going to be. It took us over ten trips back and forth, up and down stairs to get everything in place. Also, the canoe with all the florals on it had a small leak so we kept getting water in the canoe during the shoot!” Kortni

But it all worked out…

“Even though it was a workshop shoot, there wasn’t a ton of photographers, which made it more relaxed and intimate feeling. You could tell that everyone was having a lot of fun.” Kortni

Wild Love at Deception Pass

Big love for this shoot, set amongst the landscape of Deception Pass State Park.

Big love for this Washington shoot, set amongst the gorgeous landscape of Deception Pass State Park. We reached out to Tatiana of Rosemary & Pine photography after seeing some beautiful shots from the shoot floating about on Insta. We instantly wanted to showcase it in all its wild and natural beauty.

There are so many things we love about this concept…from the surroundings, to the styling. The palette is so delicate set against the raw of the wilderness, with pops of peach and pink, and flashes of brighter reds and orange. It is, in a word, dreamy.

We also love that real bride Karaline left her beaut vintage glasses on. We love a strong glasses look.

Catching up with Tatiana, the photographer, I wanted to understand more about what the day entailed…

“It was such a romantic day to venture out with Robert and Karaline as our models. Karaline wore a dress by Free People that she actually wore at her wedding reception, which her and Robert celebrated just the year before!

So many amazing vendors played a key role in making this day as amazing and beautiful as it was. Al & Bloom created such beautiful floral pieces that complemented 3Eleven Event’s styling so well that I almost couldn’t get over how romantic and beachy the whole tablescape felt. Some of my favourite items used for styling were the beautiful brass candlesticks that brought so much romanticism and dimension to the tablescape. Al & Bloom’s cascading florals don’t fall fair behind though!”

Sometimes a pared back styled shoot makes for the most impactful. A simple but beautifully constructed tablescape, a beautiful stationery flatlay and the cake styled to perfection. And then a programme of stunning couple shots.

That’s exactly what this team did. And nailed it.

“I loved how down to earth, romantic, and adventurous this entire day was. Elegance was intertwined through bits and pieces of the day, but still, it included so much texture and a touch of boho that made such a good connection to the location.” Tatiana

The shoot location is so idyllic…we wish we could travel to all the amazing places our submissions come from. But we are especially loving the contrast between the golden grades, the sandy ground and the beautiful evergreens in the background. Such a gorgeous representation of nature.

And despite it being a cold day, we can feel the warmth between this sweet newlywed couple…

“I loved shooting with Robert and Karaline as newlyweds because their love for one another said it all. It feels so good when almost every aspect of a shoot comes together so flawlessly from the connection your couple has to vendor styles jiving better than you could dream of” Tatiana

From the sumptuous cake finished with edible gold leaf, to the rosy tones of the stunning stationery suite, each and every supplier captured the vibe and delivered such an array of incredible pieces to make this whole shoot run like a dream.

One of our favourite aspects of this shoot is the fashion. The dress worn by Karaline, by the amazing Free People, is so beautifully bohemian and effortless…the scooped back, the winged sleeves…and not forgetting the button detailing! We lovvvvve that she chose to wear sandals as opposed to the typical bridal heel. Robert, incredibly dapper in his dark grey suit, chose the perfect brown shoes to complement the surrounding landscape.

And seriously, how can we forget that bouquet. So beautiful in its abundance, and perfectly rich and tonal.

When asked about how the shoot went, Tatiana explains…

“I can’t say that I felt there were many challenges during this day. Everything, even the weather, felt so perfectly chosen that I could not have asked for a better creative experience.” Tatiana

Well, you can’t get much better than that, can you…

Well done to a fabulous team!

Boho With A Twist At Lock 91

We love a boho wedding setup in different, unique locations…like this gorgeous industrial boho shoot in Manchester.

So you probably know Wed in The Wild best for it’s outdoorsy, boho vibe; being at one with nature and discovering the great outdoors. But we really dig a boho wedding setup in different, unique locations…like this gorgeous industrial boho shoot at Lock 91 in Manchester.

We don’t know whether it’s Editor Jenna’s northern roots, or whether it’s the beautiful boho nods, but this shoot has some serious styling goals and gorgeous colour pops. It’s making us feel a little bit warm and tingly inside, which is saying something as the weather has turned so cold!

Submitted by Michelle Healey of Michelle Amy Weddings, this whimsical setup will send your head a-spinning with its Pinterest-worthy wedding inspiration…

Now if you are a sucker for macrame like we are, then you’ll love this amazing hexagonal backdrop from Bespoke Events and Styling woven with intricate macrame weaves by Little White Attic. It was certainly one of the focal points of this ‘perfect nod to boho’ styled shoot, which Michelle tells us about…

“We wanted to create a boho style wedding in an industrial setting. Boho is such a fab style and is usually shown in outdoor setting with tipis and such, so we wanted to show that the two can marry together, and with the right setting and venue this can be done indoors.”

The team chose Lock 91 in Manchester as the venue for the shoot; which is, internally, lovely and moody. Emma Boyle’s photography perfectly captured the moodiness of the venue and added to that dark charm that we associate with bohemian weddings.

The team from Little White Attic also supplied an insane macrame canopy, which stole the styling show as far as we are concerned…we would love to see more of it to be honest! This showstopper was used to frame the beautiful cake by Urban Cake House.

The cake, beautifully detailed in its appearance, featured piped macrame, copper hexagons which fitted seamlessly into the theme of the shoot. We especially love the bottom tier, which looks like different colour geodes…and definitely good enough to eat.

We’re not meaning to be biased here, but one of our favourite aspects of the shoot (aside from, well…all of it), is the stationery. There sometimes isn’t enough emphasis on stationery in a shoot but the items provided by Raspberry Toast are just beautiful. And completely in contact to what most stationery for boho weddings looks like. This suite is super clean with gorgeous copper nods, and we are loving Cath’s creativity.

Outdoors, the team setup a tablescape and chill out area for the model, Charlotte, to relax amongst. The florals, by Perfect Bouquet included so much gorgeous texture, from ferns and pampas to delicate cows parsley.

Emma captured this shoot in all its dark and moody beauty.; just the right emotive photography needed to match the dark qualities of the venue, Lock 91. And Michelle explains how the weather fitted the darkness of the shoot…typical of Manchester!

“As we had a setup outside we had to stay on weather watch, dark clouds threatened the skies and we were so lucky, as we wrapped the shoot the heavens opened!” Michelle
